    Jun 03,  · referencing Obscured By Clouds, LP, Album, RP, SHSP This is a much lighter, folksier album from Pink Floyd. It's quite nice to have on in the background. There are some great VCS 3 synth sounds the open the first track/5(K).

    Every bit as diverse as the oft-praised Meddle, but without an extended piece, "Obscured by Clouds" is one of those great neglected lps that shows what a group was capable of, and hints at the directions they might've chosen to go and did not. Though the instrumentals are successfully filmic, the vocal numbers are more memorable/5().

    Obscured by Clouds is the seventh studio album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd, released on 2 June by Harvest and Capitol Records. It is based on their soundtrack for the French film La Vallée, by Barbet Schroeder. It was recorded in two sessions in France, while they were in the midst of touring, and produced by the band members.
